Gerard Depardieu fills our screen (and how!) again this season in this, the latest offering from the directors that gave us 'Aaltra' (shown by LFS in 2006), the first wheelchair based road movie. Like the 2 main characters in 'Aaltra', Depardieu is on a quest...in his case, it's to find the retirement pension he believes entitled to. This film is bound to be inspired, funny & provocative....

Our season comes to a fitting close with another majestic film by arguably British cinema's finest current director. Set over 4 seasons, the film follows the fortunes of Tom and Gerri, happily married for years and totally at ease with their lot, and their family and friends. Leigh paints a touching and truthful picture of the ups and downs of modern life, with tremendous performances from a wonderful ensemble cast.
